Remembering some of the Bolton men who lost their lives in the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915

Edward James Rimmer

Edward was the son of Frederick Rimmer b.1866 and Sarah Ann Rimmer née Gibson b.1868.

He first appeared on the 1891 Census living at 52 Greenhough Street, Wigan with his parents and sister Florence b.1891.

In 1901 Edward was living at 42 Great Moor Street, Bolton with his parents and siblings Florence, Gertrude b.1891, May b.1894 and Maggie b.1898.

Edward's name appears on the Bolton Borough Roll of Honour.

NB CWGC gives Edward's age at death incorrectly as 32.
