Remembering some of the Bolton men who lost their lives in the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915

Harry Senior

Samuel Henry Senior, known as Harry, was the son of James Senior b.1856, a beltman in a machine shop and Elizabeth Senior née Hamilton b.1856.

Harry first appeared on the 1901 Census living at 6 Spring Street, Middleton, Lancashire with his parents and siblings Arthur b.1878, Ellen b.1883, Ann Jane b. 1887 and Elizabeth b.1891,

By 1911 he was living at the same address with his parents and sisters Annie b.1886, Ann Jane and Elizabeth (Lizzie).

Harry was working as a piecer in a cotton mill at that time.
