Remembering some of the Bolton men who lost their lives in the Gallipoli Campaign of 1915

Robert Taylor

Robert was the son of Thomas Taylor b.1825, a coal miner and Alice Taylor b.1830.

Robert first appeared on the 1881 Census living at 488 Wigan Road, Bolton with his parents and siblings Samuel b. 1858, Thomas b. 1863 and Hannah b.1873. His older brothers were also coal miners.

In 1891 he was living at 1 Blackledge Street, Bolton with his parents and siblings Thomas and Hannah.
