Signaller LEWIS FOSTER, Royal Warwickshire Regiment, was killed on August 12th. Enlisting shortly after war broke out in the Royal Engineers, he was later transferred to the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, and went to the front on Christmas Eve last year. Prior to enlisting he was a clerk in the Bolton Tramways Office, and was on the Roll of Honour at the Chorley Old-rd. Wesleyan Church. Aged 25, he leaves a wife and child at 142 Lawn-st., Bolton.
