Mrs. Lee, 148, Mornington-rd., Bolton, has been notified of the death of her son, Gunner HERBERT LEE, on July 25th. from gas poisoning. On the night of July 21st he was gassed by a shell, and although he was admitted immediately into hospital he succumbed. Gunner Lee enlisted in the R.F.A., and had, previous to his death, been appointed signaller. He is on the Roll of Honour at Oxford Grove school, and St. Margaret’s Church, and is the son of P.C. John Lee.
