Rifleman ALBERT MOORE, late of 48, Arnold-st., Bolton, met his death whilst at an observation post on February 28th. He joined the R.A.M.C. in October 1914, afterwards being transferred to the Rifle Brigade (Machine Gun Section). He had been twice wounded previously. Rifleman Moore returned to the front two months ago, on his 22nd birthday, and had only been 10 days in the group when he met his death. Before joining the forces he worked at the Lena-st. Branch of the Bolton Co-operative Society. He is on the Chorley Old-rd. Congregational Church Roll of Honour.

MOORE - Rifleman ALBERT MOORE, Observation Sect. F.S. Co. R.E., who fell at his post of duty in France, Feb. 28th aged 22 years.
