Pte. Allan Partington, L.N.L. Regiment , Machine Gun Corps, died on July 27th from the effects of gas and burns received five days earlier. When war broke out he was mobilised and went to the front with the L.N.L. Regiment. He was only 19 years of age, and his mother lives at 1, Milo-st., Bolton. He was employed at the Musgrave Spinning Company’s No. 2. Mill, and is on the Roll of Honour at Park-st Wesleyan and St. Luke’s Churches. His brother is in the R.F.A.
